What is "DESIGNING WITH STONE PORTUGAL - 2025"?

It is an International Architectural Conference on Designing with Natural Stone.   This conference is sponsored by the STONE TRENDS INTERNATIONAL , an international consulting group specializing in independent stone consulting for commercial projects.

Attendees:
This conference is owned and organized by Stone Trends International, a stone consulting group with consultants in 9 leading  countries of stone production.  

The 2023 conference will be limited to 25 participants.  Priority participants will be:  Architects, Interior Designers, General Contractors, and Stone Installers that are currently contracted with LDS Temples in the North American area.  Participants will be able to bring a guest depending on availability of seats on the bus.

7 Days in Portugal...

A total immersion course in Natural Stone Design: from quarry visits to factory demonstrations to case studies.  There will be a welcome dinner in Porto and a final dinner in Lisbon where major Portuguese stone will be invited to join us.

The Team.
The Study group will be accompanied by two international stone industry consultants that specialize in the sourcing, selection, testing and inspection of Natural Stone for commercial Projects.  The combined team of Vince Marazita, from the USA, and Peter Harrison, from the UK bring a combined total of 95 years of stone industry experience to share with the participants of the conference.  Mr. Marazita and Mr. Harrison have co-authored a Design Guide available to architects and interior designers of LDS Temples.  Feel free to email us for a copy of the guide.  For more information about Mr. Marazita or Mr. Harrison, feel free to follow the links below:
